Our Story
Where It Started
Flagship Dads was born from one honest conversation and a simple realization: fatherhood is one of the greatest things in the world and also one of the loneliest.
Since becoming a dad I lost touch with friends, stopped making time for myself, and felt a quiet isolation I didn't expect and rarely talked about. I know I'm not the only one.
The male loneliness epidemic is real. Research shows five times as many men report having no close friends today as did in 1990, and one in four men under 35 feel lonely most days. Most of us never talk about it. We were raised not to. But isolation isn't strength. It's just silence.
We're building something new in Erie because nothing like this existed here. A no pressure, judgment free community for dads who want real connection, real friendship, and a little time to invest in themselves again. We host events for dads and kids together, and events just for the dads. Both matter. Show up when you can. You are always welcome here.
